Excellent hotel, superb location right in the middle of the pedestrian area. The hotel has it’s own underground parking a few hundred yards away, and they have permission to drive right up to the hotel. Food was excellent, we had dinner in the brasserie and breakfast was very good too. Our room had a small double bed, but other than than it was very appointed, clean and spacious. I would stay there again.
Negative:
Only thing we did not like was the small double bed in our room (shame I can’t remember the room number), but our friends had a queen size double, so we did tell the team on reception and hopefully they will change this, as a queen size bed would fit. The rooms are quirky, loads of beams, but with a modern finish. Check out the pictures on their site.

Friendly and efficient staff if not up to the top standard as found in much more expensive hotels. Interestingly decorated and very comfortable rooms. Excellent internet connections – a must for a business traveller. QUit egood food in the “non gourmet” restaurant,must try the gourmet one next time. Perfect location for business and city touring. Beautifully restored and an interesting decor theme.

It’s a smaller hotel, so there are usually only 2 receptionists on duty at any time, so things can get busy if there is a large group trying to check out at the same time
